Argireline, chemically known as Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, is a synthetic peptide that replicates the N-terminal end of SNAP-25. Like this, Argireline competes with it to gain a position in the SNARE complex. This next-generation peptide, Argireline is an effective alternative to botulinum toxin for reducing the number of fine lines and wrinkles.

As we know, fine lines and wrinkles are one of the most prominent signs of skin aging. They can be a result of natural aging or can occur due to premature skin aging caused by environmental stressors or regular muscle movements and muscle contractions. Relistase stimulates the collagen production in our skin so as to increase tightness and elasticity in our skin.

Both, normal or premature aging, lead to activate proteolytic degradation of collagen and elastin through elastase and other proteases in our body. The basal cells in the epidermis escalate in number and give rise to cells that undergo the process of cell differentiation into mature keratinocytes. In these basal cells, the transcription factors that are the markers of stem cells only have the capacity to replenish mature tissues. It releases signals in form of chemicals. These chemicals are called neurotransmitters. The SNARE complex  is a group of complex proteins through which the above said signals are exchanged.

Now, we know that fine lines and wrinkles are one of the most prominent signs of skin aging. They can be a result of natural aging or can occur due to premature skin aging.
